A Journey to Himself

At the helm of Print Jobs is Oscar, a self-made man who has dedicated himself to the pursuit of excellence. Coming from humble beginnings, he went to Dubai as a young man and worked there for a few years to help support his family.

It was there that he discovered a passion for photography and graphic design. He was diligent and hardworking, yet he recognised that there wasn’t room for further growth on his current path.

Armed with his experiences, he returned to the Philippines in his late 20s and took the opportunity to work for a political party as an aid and also as a photographer.

He later joined the corporate world in different industries such as customer service, finance, and sales, all the while hoping to find his niche.

Birthing Pains

Not dissimilar to a phoenix and its endless cycles of renewals, his late 20s and early 30s had been quite a time of self-discovery and an accumulation of both knowledge and many interests. He climbed the corporate ladder and slowly improved his resume, but Oscar soon felt compelled to build something more significant.

He started to learn more about business, accounting, and bookkeeping and ultimately decided it was time to for him carve his path and become his own boss. He started a photography business with a partner but realised after a time that he had to expand further. He did his research, hustled hard, and this was how Print Jobs came to be.

While having a highly visible online presence is important to most businesses, will always have a need for something physical and tangible. “We still see signs everywhere,” Oscar states confidently. Well-designed and durable signage goes a long way toward a positive visual impact on customers. Despite our growing dependency on digital media, print is nowhere close to dying so long as printing companies can re-imagine their models and services to suit the current market’s needs. Apparently, visibility is still the key to success for most businesses.
